  • Ground cumin2 tsp (plus 1 tsp for rice)
  • Ground coriander2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder1 tsp or to taste
  • Bay leaf1

Steps

  1. Rinse and soak chickpeas overnight, then boil until soft. Drain and set aside (or use fresh cooked chickpeas).
